Job Information

Dow Jones Vice President, Business Operations (Media Sales) in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all organizational design discussions and projects

  • Run weekly and monthly revenue forecasting with Finance

  • Lead development of FY 2021 advertising revenue and expense budget, including collaborating with counterparts in the business to align on strategic priorities and revenue expectations

  • Lead strategic projects under direction of CRO and/or CCO including sizing new revenue opportunities

  • Oversee Director of Sales Ops, which includes all revenue forecasting, Salesforce operations, salary planning, incentive plan design and commission management

  • Manage Director of New Business, responsible for building out the new prospecting sales function

  • Day-to-day team contact for operations support for the wider business, including the Finance, People and Legal teams

  • Plan weekly Advertising leadership team meeting

  • Team lead for client information and data requests from senior business leaders

Skills & Experience:

Required:

  • 10+ years in publisher-side sales operations management experience required

  • Minimum 5 years experience managing people

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to define requirements and processes

  • Comfortable working with budgets and numbers

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented

  • MBA preferred
