The Sales team is dedicated to selling the products that help shape key business decisions around the world. From banks to government agencies, investment funds, accounting firms and more, you’ll take pride in selling news information, data, services and tools to leading companies and individuals across the globe, plus post-sales support for basic to advanced users.
The Director, Programmatic Account Management will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the programmatic account management team, operationalizing the programmatic strategy across the sales organization and championing programmatic education across Dow Jones.
Oversee and drive delivery against programmatic revenue objectives
Lead relationships with key programmatic demand partners (including advertiser and agency trade desks) to drive strategic integrations
Provide high-level coverage for senior agency and brand contacts, in partnership with sales
Programmatic thought leader internally championing programmatic training within the company
Partner with Ad Operations and Technology teams to scale programmatic account management operations through automation of manual processes (eg internal reporting for the Sales team), codification of best practices and adoption of market-leading practices
Work closely with Ad Operations to manage, evolve and grow relationships with demand partners (DSPs, Exchanges, Networks).
Help define go-to-market strategy for all programmatic offerings in close partnership with sales team
Deliver data-driven insights that encompass market/industry trends, supply and demand dynamics etc.
Help define and execute communication strategy and reporting cadence across sales, Dow Jones brands and other relevant stakeholder groups
Serve as a subject matter expert on all things programmatic for multiple internal and external stakeholder groups
5+ years in a hands-on programmatic role at a premium publisher, agency/trading desk or DSP/SSP
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and process improvements through analytics and optimization
Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior leaders
Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively across multiple teams and organizations
